EA CEO, Andrew Wilson, has said that the company wants to ‘double down’ on creating Star Wars games in partnership with Disney.
Wilson recently had a video meet with investors, where he talked about the success of Star Wars properties like Star Wars: Battlefront series, Respawn’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes. “We’re going to double down on that partnership,” Wilson explained. “Disney continues to be very very committed to the IP and to the canon.”
Speaking about the partnership with Disney, Wilson said, “We’ve got new generations coming to the IP all the time. So our expectation is we think there continues to be a really really strong opportunity in an around that relationship and that IP going forward.”
Wilson also confirmed that Apex Legends will be having a soft launch on mobile by the end of the year.
